One of the problems of using nano scale materials is the agglomeration problem. In nano scale, high surface energy cause the uncontrolled agglomeration of nano sized particles. Therefore the particle cannot show the advantages gained by the nano size offers. The second problem of using nano sized materials is the risk of nano materials penetration to the human body through the skin. Nano scale structures can go through the hair follicles or some other ways in to the skin and even to the blood cells. This can cause drastic health problems such as cancer and therefore usage of nano technology on human bodies without taking necessary precautions can lead to inacceptable results.
