Painless & ISIS wiring harness - FFCars.com : Factory Five Racing ...
The Isis pretty well eliminates the painless system. I don't have the "In Motion" module, so I used ffr relays for the power windows. You might have to pick up some odd bits and pieces , but that's about it. The isis is rated for 30 amp circuits , so anything above that such as pwr steering, possible your fans ( depending on engine/ ecu controller) would need relays and separate power feeds. So , the answer is you don't need the painless if you're using the isis. dbusa, thanks for the reply. Makes my decision a lot easier, plus isis is easy to use when installing door poppers and push button start. Reason for asking is since I am in Canada, they omit the painless main wiring package (300 plus dollar value) that I can put towards the isis. I actually have the relays for the windows, which now saves me from hunting those down. Its not eliminate fromt the kit, just omitted. Canada customs/"RIV" does not allow certain parts be imported into canada with the kit. Parts like brake lines, the shocks, wiring (main painless kit), rack & pinion, fuel caps/filler hoses etc. basically about 2000 dollars of parts. Thats why the kits are 17990 for canadians. I now have to order this completion kit from Jeff at Whitby motors.
