Blatter cannot hide behind Barca brilliance forever
ANOTHER humiliation. Another one-sided football lesson. Another humbling lesson for a soccer club that is overrated beyond belief by the English media.
Sadly folks, the English dictionary does not have enough words to describe the systematic destruction of Manchester United by the irrepressible Barcelona in the one-sided Champions League final at the weekend.
Barcelona make this sport so enjoyable that many lovers of the beautiful game were just willing the aristocrats from Spain to hand United an even bigger pasting than the final 3-1 score at Wembley.
Hell, such was the pinpoint accuracy of their sublime passing game that even Martians would have found themselves chasing shadows. Barcelona are that damn good.
This was such a one-sided Cup final that the ball was played in the United half of the pitch for long periods.
And how is this for a statistic: "Xavi completed his first 40 passes before any United player had reached double figures." Jeez, talk about a lesson!
Lionel Messi made such a mockery of the United defen ce that I would have given anything to see the faces of tho se English journalists who like to peddle the illusion that Alex Ferguson’s charges are the best in the world. There was one team at Wembley on Saturday night and it certainly was not United.
Based on their showing at the weekend, Xavi, Sergio Busquets, Andres Iniesta and Messi would be able to pass the ball through the eye of a needle.
These astonishingly gifted magicians were able to find their team-mates through the tightest of angles in a display that surely can only be replicated on a PlayStation video game.
But then again, what did we expect? We have seen it before and, as luck would have it, the same two teams featured in yet another one-sided final.
Remember how Barcelona handed out free soccer lessons to a bemused United at Rome’s Stadio Olimpico in what was an embarrassingly one-sided Champions League final in May 2009? So dominant were Javier Hernandez and Iniesta in that 2009 final that even Ferguson — not known for generously handing out compliments to the opposition — admitted there were times his charges chased shadows as the irrepressible duo reduced the match to something akin to a training session at their home ground.

While early models of the solar wind used primarily thermal energy to accelerate the material, by the 1960s it was clear that thermal acceleration alone cannot account for the high speed of solar wind. An additional unknown acceleration mechanism is required, replica swiss watches and likely relates to magnetic fields in the solar atmosphere. The Sun's corona, or extended outer layer, is a region of plasma that is heated to over a million degrees Celsius. As a result of thermal collisions, the particles within the inner corona have a range and distribution of speeds described by a Maxwellian distribution. The mean velocity of these particles is about 145 km/s, which is well below the solar escape velocity of 618 km/s. However, a few of the particles achieve energies sufficient to reach the terminal velocity of 400 km/s, which allows them to feed the solar wind. At the same temperature, electrons, due to their much smaller mass, reach escape velocity and build up an electric field that further accelerates ions - charged atoms - away from the Sun.[15]Science policy is an area of public policy concerned with the policies that affect the conduct of the science and research enterprise, including research funding, often in pursuance of other national policy goals such as technological innovation to promote commercial product development, weapons development, nike chaussures health care and environmental monitoring.
